BLOG - FEBRUARY 2026

It's been a nice, quiet month, enabling us to have a breather and reset for the year ahead. February is one of those month's where you're nearly out of the dreary winter and desperate for Spring to start. We had a couple of days of sunshine in Essex but LOTS of rain.

Before I ramble on I thought I'd mention that today we've launched a SPECIAL OFFER FOR MARCH which is a discount off FOUR SEASONS and ONE POT if you buy them both together. Usually we offer £4 off for a 2-book order but for this month only, you can buy them both together for just £45 +P&P. That's just under £11 off ! No code required, just add them to your basket and the discount will be automatically applied. If you have already bought 1 or both of these books, you still get £4 off any 2 or £8 off any 3 recipe books.

PLUS don't forget to use any SK Loyalty Points gained, to get further money off !

The rain didn't stop Michael going on his annual 2-day golf trip to Thorpeness. Apparently the ground drains well, it never rains when they're there, the food is great (🤔!) and they had a great time whist me & Henry were snuggled up in the warm at home with the cats. I know where I'd rather be 😻

I hope you've been enjoying some of the recipes I've been making and posting on YouTube, facebook and Instagram ? Here's a few of them to whet your appetite...

This is not a real picture!!

As mentioned previously, we've been car-shopping as both our cars are 9 & 10 years old this year, so it's about time! We've finally settled on 2 cars which are the same but in different colours ! We've gone for Electric vehicles due to the fact that they save money on fuel, simple as that. We all spend a fortune on petrol/diesel and it's not getting any cheaper, especially with the war going on in Iran literally as we speak 😢. The car is an Xpeng G6 and I love the comfy interior, the big sunroof, the space, PLUS it can even cook ! Honestly, I could (but probably won't) plug my Ninja 15-in-1 into it sitting in a traffic jam and cook up a meal - could you imagine ?! (pic for fun 😂)

Henry went away on a School Skiing trip during his half-term break and had a great time with his friends. Whilst he was away, instead of a Valentines Meal on our own, we went out with friends to a local pub called the Spotted Dog which was lovely. They catered for my Gluten Free requirements well and we were there for about 3 hours which was nice and relaxing. That's how restaurants should be... Not rushed out for the next booking.

Our kitten Beau is now 4 months old and getting big. He must have doubled in size since we got him and his teeth are getting sharp ! He's so playful but our older cat isn't any more, so we have to keep an eye on them. It's like having a baby again - making sure he's playing enough, eating enough and sleeping enough. Then whilst he's sleeping, trying to get some work done before he wakes again 😊.

Enjoy your March, hopefully we start to see some better weather and as always I'll be bringing you lots of new, simple, tasty meals for your Ninja Foodi multicookers.

Thank you for all your support,

Susannah x
