BLOG - JANUARY 2026

January is over and it's the end of our January Sale ! We've had 26% off my SK2 Annual Subscription and 26% off "Four Season" plus "Christmas Ninja Foodi Recipes". We have our multi-buy discount where you get £4 off for 2 books, £8 off for 3 books and £12 off for all 4 books. A few purchasers recently ordered all 4 books and effectively got the Xmas book for just £2.79 as they got £12 off the already reduced price of £14.79 !

We can't offer reduced prices constantly as it's against UK selling rules, but we like to do offers every now and then to make it easier for those who perhaps can't afford a book when it first comes out. And certainly when you buy more than one book it makes our order processing & packaging time less, therefore more efficent, which is why we give the multi-buy discount. Thank you for all your orders for books, subscriptions and renewals during January, it's much appreciated 🙏🏼

Going back to the start of January, we took our Christmas tree down on 3rd Jan. Is that too early, too late or just right ? We just do it when it fits in with everything else going on after New Year.

Our little kitten, Beau, has had his first 2 vaccinations and has settled into the house well with our existing cat, Willow. He's very lively, very hungry and has grown nicely. It's like having a newborn in the house, feeding regularly, playing with him, keep an eye on him to ensure he's safe etc. He tears around for an hour or 2, then flops down and sleeps for a similar time, and repeat. He's so cute and very playful. I post a few more pics on my instagram account so if you're interested, please take a look HERE.

LOW CALORIE RECIPES for the Ninja Foodi

I've been producing a little series of Low Calorie (under 500 kcal) recipe videos for the 1st few weeks of January. I hope you liked them and they were useful ? You can find these and my previous low calorie recipe videos in this PLAYLIST on YouTube. I need your feedback on things like this as I want to produce content that you want, not what I want. Please keep commenting and sending me messages with your thoughts and ideas.

Henry has started his basketball again after the Xmas break, which is great to get out and watch him train and play. However, he badly injured his finger last week and has a skiing trip with his school in 2 weeks time so hopefully it'll be better in time for that ! He's just had another Young Driver lesson this morning and we've got another few booked to get him ready for proper driving lessons in June, when he turns 17. Time is flying by and soon he'll be off in his own wheels, which makes me a bit sad. How did you cope when your children fled the nest ?

My SK2 Annual Subscription now has over 400 printable recipes, so if you subscribe for just £30/year, you could create a new recipe every day of the year ! Plus I add at least 2 new recipes every week so there's plenty of choice for everyone's tastes.

Thanks again for all your support. Please write a review for any books you've ordered recently so that I can see what works and what doesn't work. Your reviews also help others to decide which book is best for them. To write a review, just click on the relevant book page, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Leave a Review". Thank you 🙏🏼

Also, do let me know what recipes you're enjoying and what you'd like to see more of and I'll try to accommodate.

They soon got their revenge, we moved from parents to official baby sitters, although we have ways of dealing with that! 😉
